i say we need a map vote for when there is no admin on and we want to change the map

Well, then there will only played a few maps. Every map had his special thing and if some ppl wouldn't be so stubborn and just play an other type of playing style, he will agree that can be fun too. And when there is an admin online, you can ask for an other map. It shouldn't happen too much that a map will be changed.

I think map vote is one of those things that at times is great, but other times can be a pain in the ass. It can lead to the same maps being overplayed, and not to mention the constant mapvote spamming. Only thing i can think of is to give a few more wbs members ability to change maps for when it is quite to draw people in with popular maps, then once its busy it doesnt really matter what map its on.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't give a member just one command it has to be all of them..

on bfsm you can choose which lists you want people to have access to, theres a maps list, player list(kick and ban from) etc, and so what you can do is give someone bfrm, and only acess to the map list, so long as you doing add their keyhash to the client they have no control in game

Razor

Yeah I think there should be map vote enabled in my opinion

My problem with map vote is that it can get annoying and that it can lead to certain maps being overplayed, I'm not too keen on changing the next map myself since I don't really like disrupting the map cycle.

We don't need one more admin atm. Tues and me are most of the time online when ppl are playing on the server. And if we think we need one more admin, we will consider if it would be a good choice to pick you as admin. BUT, we will also consider to promote one of the other members.. :P We need more activity and members to think about a new admin. ;)

Chris

Ok.  Ill get recruiting.

Gh0st

admin ship is a heavy responsibility.. and i think that chris has more than enough.. but its not about that.. this is a topic over mapvote.. i can see it both ways.. but i agree with pepper.. maybe the WBS members can have the power to activate a mapvote.. but not automatically switch the map. and the mapvote could pertain to the map after the current match..

harry sniper

we need more maps on the cycle for example guadel canal and gazala maybe iwo jima as well  8)
