I wouldn't say it has to be a shooter, I think the most important thing is that it is a game you wont loose interest in after a few months and that will have an active player base for a good amount of time.

Guys! I don't feel like bringing up old shit, but I still have a TF2 server running under the old AcE name!

I kind of left it unattended for a while (2 months) because I have quite a lot to do nowadays and I can't really be bothered running it all by myself. I also started working on a Battlefield's Berlin map remake for the server, but it's not finished yet (far from finished *ahem*)

It's not much, but it's something

I also made a Fifa Worldcup "themed" map during the soccer matches (*note that this is also an early screenshot, due to lack of environmental lighting and lack of detail*)

The cool thing about Team Fortress 2 is it bein' a free to play game. You don't need a killer computer, 2006 hardware should be fine (anything that can run the source engine should be fine in general), all you gonna need is some free gigs on your hardware and a steam account and off ya go!

It's not really branching into other games this time if you'd ask me. We're not going to make seperate clans again, but I feel like this is more like fusing 2 great things together to make something that's supposed to be even better.
I'm running this server for almost 2 years now, and it's nothing like your mainstream TF2 server with annoying ads and pay2win mechanics, but more like a fun project for myself. And that comes mainly down to making my own maps
