Expected someone else to start this topic weeks ago but yea, now I do.
So, what is your opinion about the Ukraine crisis?
The new Ukrainian government sounds to me like it is going to worse than the old one. The cabient includes 4 members of the Svoboda party which is an anti-semitic party.
As for Crimea, I believe they should be allowed to hold a referendum, surely the people should be able to choose their fate rather than be governed by the new Ukrainian coalition government that nobody voted for.
Second that. It was always Russian and the people want to come home, as the result of the referendum shows.
I do not like that Russia gets isolated and shitted from the US and EU. Breaking promisses like no more eastward expansions or having weapons in Poland, justified as self-defense is complete bullshit.
USA would go crazy if Russia puts it's weapons at Mexico or Cuba again.
Hopefully everyone knows that conflict in the Cold War.
Propaganda is everywhere in the media, at least in Germany I read headlines like: Putin the Terminator, Putin is bad, Obama the good one, bullshit. I do not say that Putin is good in general, human rights and stuff in Russia, I know about that. But it is so sad that everyone sticks to USA who just do whatever they want to, for instance in Kosovo.
If I would be in his position, I would act the same.
