Exactly what the title says, is the clan still official?
Don't be offended I asked that :P
ANYWAYS, how are you guys? I have rarely visited the forum and uninstalled the game probably over a year ago, foolish mistake I suppose. I just hated that dumb laptop I played on. Before I waste any of my time I want to know if it is possible to put the game on a flash drive to play on our home computer. There is a strict no download rule on it because of how our old one went to hell from all the downloads. My plan was to put the EA GAMES folder on the flash drive, make a shortcut on the computer routed to the .exe on the flash drive, pop in the disk, and viola, portable game. The problem is, I have not found a quick way to put the folder on the flash drive. I just want to know if it is possible to put it on a flash drive and play before I waste any time transferring the 1GB folder on and old Windows XP laptop.
TL;DR I want to know if I can put the game files on a flash drive, plop the disk in the computer, and play the game off the flash drive so that the game itself is not installed on the computer.
Hey Zara O0
Some of us still play bf1942 but our server isn't used much ::)
I'm guessing you mean no installs rather than no downloads? Anyway, read this: http://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1954

dont think that is the right thing to say
-.-
It seems like that guy wanted to play without the discs, lucky for me I have them, and yes no installs ;)
I'm gonna either just wait out the hour to transfer to folder to the flash drive or attempt to download it in torrent form, but it seems every time I do that, uTorrent freezes up. ???

Really no, it's strange. I've done a transfer like this in torrent form with a several GB photo album. I haven't given up!
